Junior / Mid Level Web Developer w/ Wordpress skills in CHATSWOOD, New South Wales

We are seeking a design focused individual with good web services skills and attention to detail, to take on new projects front end design work and ongoing maintenance of all customer sites. We've got a number of interesting project work coming up with a lot of variety across industry segments, including manufacturing, motorsport, transport services etc.

Some commercial experience working in web design/development in Australia
Good front end design capabilities and demonstrated experience ? with examples
Excellent Wordpress, Joomla, WooCommerce etc open source CMS and shopping cart solution experience, including template integration and client branding, customisation
Excellent use of English, both written and oral; Word doc skills A MUST
Mastered Photoshop; other Adode product capabilities nice to have
Strong web server setup skills ? Win IIS, Wordpress CMS, PHP, SQL etc
Online marketing campaign understanding - SEO campaign management skills w/
Google Analytics setup and monitoring, Google Adwords management exposure etc
Good graphic design and photo manipulation skills

A passion for technology and keeping up with new innovations in the digital space.
Nice to have's...
Web services VPS hosting maintenance, backups, domain management, IIS, DNS, Cpanel, etc administration skills also highly valued.
Someone with good cross skilling of Win System Admin & networking capabilities also well regarded.
Video editing and rendering skills

Flair for marketing, sales, business development, customer engagement, which may lead to other opportunities and incentives!
You will be expected to be able to work unsupervised and happy to work by yourself at times, as we're a small team often out and about, able to work under direction i.e. consistent with design brief, requirements, and efficient.
There may be occasional onsite meetings and phone support or initial customer enquiries at the office, therefore so this is also a customer facing role critical to our business.
We expect strong communications on work activities, progress and issues.
We need someone with the enthusiasm to address the ongoing needs of sites, make informed suggestions, keep track and advise new trends and capabilities, maintain content and media accordingly to exceed customer expectations and provide value, working quickly and efficiently, often without supervision and keep management informed of progress at all times.
Our office is a small modern design studio right near Chatswood station. Cafe's, tansport, shops, pubs all close at hand.
Ongoing contract position available for the right candidate, with market rate on offer depending on individual's experience and skills.
